An Audience with Errol Kingsley

The Event

We welcome Errol Kingsley into the Vibes Music Lounge to perform some of his latest tunes, LIVE on Zoom.

The Artist

Errol Kingsley started playing the guitar aged 9, joined a band aged 14 and went on to create his own two bands four years later where he was the singer/songwriter and rhythm guitarist.

He later went on to perform with reggae star, Vivian Jones and also worked as a session rhythm guitarist for other artists.

In 1994 Errol started his first Afro-Caribbean community development group and later specialised working with young people, helping them to develop music and life skills. He has helped countless youths within Berkshire and beyond to turn their lives around, where the system has failed them.

For the past decade Errol has been further honing his craft as a singer/songwriter with his main influences being ASWAD, Steel Pulse, Third World and Bob Marley.

In recent months Errol has teamed up with a music producer and bass player who has been instrumental in creating the exciting sound for Errol’s up and coming releases “A House Is Not A Home” and “If I Ain’t Got You”. Both tracks are already being played on UK radio stations with overwhelming response from DJs and listeners alike.

The Host

The webinar will be hosted by members of Vibes Music Lounge. Vibes Music Lounge is a registered Community Interest Company with an objective to:

• Provide virtual music to promote positive mental wellbeing within the community and to
• Provide informed cultural education on a variety of topics in order to raise awareness

Vibes Music Lounge uses a cloud-based video conference service to provide a safe space for community members to network whilst listening to various genres of music including Reggae, Soul, RnB and Soca.

We aim to provide an inclusive and interactive platform where people can build support networks, indulge in music therapy with the intent of promoting a positive mental outlook on life and to be able to listen to webinars covering a variety of topics from experts within their field.
