Can you believe it’s already been a year of swoons, stories, and happily-ever-afters at Lovestruck Books & Cafe? We’re marking our very first anniversary in true romance-reader style, with none other than Tessa Bailey joining us for an unforgettable night of bookish celebration!

After an , we’re closing down for an intimate evening author talk. In conversation with Lovestruck Books & Cafe owner and founder Rachel Kanter, Tessa will discuss her latest novel , a friends-to-lovers sports romance about a baseball catcher and the burlesque club owner he can’t get out of his head.

Afterwards, grab a signature cocktail crafted just for the occasion and get in line for a fast, friendly photo opp where every attendee receives a pre-signed copy of the book. We kindly ask that guests do not bring any books from home, as we are unable to accommodate personalizations or additional signing at this event. A photographer will be on hand during the meet-and-greet to capture your photo with the author!

Heartfelt conversation, and a room full of fellow romance fans, what better way to celebrate our first year than with one of the genre’s brightest stars? Come raise a glass, snap a photo, and toast with Tessa to many more years of love at Lovestruck Books & Cafe!

Event tickets include a pre-signed copy of Catch Her if You Can, a complementary custom cocktail, and a photo taken with the author. Pre-signed backlisted titles will also be available to purchase at the event!

EVENT DETAILS

• 6:00pm: Doors Open – Settle in, grab a drink from our cafe and wine bar, and get ready for a great discussion!
• 6:30pm: Discussion Begins – Tessa and Rachel will dive into Catch Her if You Can.
• 7:15pm: Q&A Session – Your chance to ask the author anything!
• 7:30pm: Signatures, Snapping Pics, and Salutations – Say hello to the author and snap a photo. Additional folks will join us at 8:45 for the meet and greet portion of the event so be sure to get in line to snap a pic with Tessa before that time!
• 8:30pm: Last call - Grab your final pour from the wine bar.
• 9:00pm: Event Wraps Up – Thanks for joining us!

🎟️ At checkout you can select if you’d like your ticket to include a custom cocktail or not. A pre-signed copy of Catch Her If You Can is included in both ticket tiers.

Tickets are limited, so grab yours soon! If the event sells out, you can join the eventbrite waitlist by selecting “Reserve a spot” followed by “Join Waitlist”. Should any spots open up, you’ll have 24 hours to register before we offer it to the next person.

Check-in will take place at our front entrance on Brattle Street. If you have any accessibility needs, you're welcome to use our side entrance (located on the right side of the building), which is wheelchair accessible and has a ramp.

Guests who would benefit from priority seating or any additional assistance are encouraged to reach out in advance — just email us at [email protected]. We're more than happy to make arrangements to ensure you feel comfortable and supported.

BOOK PICKUP POLICY

If you purchased a book with your event ticket but can’t make it to the event—and don’t request a refund—we’ll happily hold your book for pickup for up to 30 days after the event date.

We’ll be in touch via the email you provided at checkout to help coordinate pickup. After 30 days, if we haven’t heard from you or made other arrangements, we’ll consider the book abandoned property and may donate it or return it to inventory so it can find a new home.
