Richard Strauss once boasted that he could depict even a knife and fork in music so when he paints the full majesty of the Alps the results are truly spectacular! First the “ravishing” Alena Baeva plays the luscious Violin Concerto by Korngold – the Viennese genius who made it big in Hollywood. And then Lio Kuokman takes a supersized HK Phil on an audio-visual mountain journey: waterfalls glaciers and breathtaking views all without leaving your seat!
