About this Event

Join 15-year-old pianist Emily Dong for an afternoon of classical piano music at Tateuchi Hall, Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA), in Mountain View.


The Program

The afternoon will feature works by four celebrated composers:

  • Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
  • Ludwig van Beethoven
  • Frédéric Chopin
  • Dmitri Shostakovich

Admission is free, but donations are warmly encouraged and will support CSMA's mission of making arts education accessible to everyone, regardless of age, skill level, background, or financial means, and fostering excellence through its music and art programs.

Admission is free, but please reserve one seat for each person attending, including yourself. We encourage you to invite your friends and family. Guests are welcome to arrive early to find seating and parking; the performance will begin promptly at 3:00 PM.

About the Performer

Emily Dong is a 15-year-old pianist from Los Altos, California, studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Division under Sandra Wright Shen and Melinda Lee Masur. She has participated in young artist programs and festivals across the United States and abroad, including the 2026 Virtuoso and Belcanto Festival in Lucca, Italy, East Carolina Piano Festival, Bay PianoFest, and the Rushmore Music Festival. An award-winning pianist, Emily has received top prizes in regional, national, and international competitions and has performed in masterclasses for distinguished musicians, including Taylor Eigsti (at CSMA!), Sofya Gulyak, Sir Stephen Hough, Wei-Yi Yang, and Philip Setzer, among others. She also had the honor of playing Chopin for Madame Ruth Slenczynska.
