ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kevin Moore is Professor Emeritus of Music at Onondaga Community College where he taught for 45 years until his retirement in May 2020. He served as General Counsel for the College for his last 8 years and has practiced law for 37 years. He has done more than 200 solo recitals since coming to Syracuse including an 8-recital Beethoven Sonata cycle. He has also been a concerto soloist thirteen times. In addition, he has collaborated often with other musicians in vocal, choral and chamber programs in the central New York area. He has music degrees from the Crane School of Music, The Manhattan School of Music and New York University and graduated from the Syracuse University College of Law. As a composer he has written 7 choral works, works for piano 4 hands, several for solo piano and more than a dozen songs for voice and piano.
