Celebrate culture, community, and freedom at "An Afternoon Jubilee" hosted by Cora Coleman Senior Center!This soulful Juneteenth celebration will feature food, music, art, special performances, and meaningful community connection in an uplifting afternoon honoring heritage and tradition. Guests can enjoy demonstrations from Baba T, performances celebrating African American women in blues and jazz by the International Opera Institute, and even participate in a sweet potato and cornbread baking contest! ✨🎶
Participants are also invited to share a treasured family recipe for the Jubilee Cookbook as we come together through culture, storytelling and celebration!
