An ADF families event: Metro Cinema grand re-opening, Richmond

ADF families in the Richmond NSW region, join us for the grand re-opening of the Metro Cinema on base at RAAF Richmond.
NOTE: This event is only for Australian Defence Force families residing in the Richmond, Glenbrook, Defence Estate Orchard Hills or Danallam House posted locality.
ADF families in the Richmond region of NSW are invited to celebrate the grand re-opening of the Metro Cinema on base at RAAF Richmond with a screening of Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway (rated G).
This event is hosted in conjunction with the RAAF Richmond Metro Cinema and RAAF Richmond Sergeant’s Mess. RAAF Richmond Sergeant’s Mess will also be hosting a BBQ lunch and craft activity for the kids prior to the movie. Tickets are limited, so hop to it.

Please note: Entry will be provided only to ADF members and their immediate family. Eventbrite tickets will be required as proof of registration. A DCAC (Defence ID) will be required for each ticket holder aged 16 years and above. It is the responsibility of the ADF Member to organise DCACs for all family members who require them. On the day, should you require a Visitor Pass, please proceed to the Richmond Pass Office and arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the event start time. Please note, DMFS staff will not be able to escort any ticket holder, and base access remains the full responsibility of the ticket holder.

Children must be under parental supervision at all times. Parents with small children may bring a cushion or backless booster seat to assist with an enhanced movie viewing experience for their child.
Parking
Parking is available on McNamara Avenue at the AAFCANS precinct.
Lunch
BBQ with vegan and gluten-free options, please nominate your requirements during the registration process to ensure appropriate catering is available.
Metro Cinema Regulations and Standards – Behavioural Standards
· Running is not permitted inside the Cinema.· Mobile Phones must be off or on silent.· No climbing over furniture.· Keep feet off seats.· Booster seats are not to be used as foot rests.· Prams must not block the main walkways.
Metro Cinema Regulations and Standards - Dress Regulations
IAW AAP 5135.003 and RAAFRIC SI(ADMIN) 09-02 the following dress regulations apply:· Hats off inside the Cinema.· No sweatshirts, singlets or sports attire.· Foot wear must be worn at all times.
Metro Cinema Regulations and Standards - Food and Drink Regulations
· Patrons can bring their own food and drink to the Cinema, however NO glass bottles or alcohol is permitted.· Patrons will be given one warning if breaches of these rules or other unacceptable behaviour occurs, if further infringement/s continue the Patron/s will be required to leave the Cinema.· Failure to follow staff direction can lead to the screening being halted and the offending person/s being referred to the Base SecPol section.· Adherence to these regulations will promote smooth staff operations and a pleasant environment.

Metro Cinema is wheelchair and pram friendly.
Amenities
Due to the current sewerage treatment plant upgrades attendees will be required to use the portable temporary toilet facilities.
Registrations close on 26 April, unless the event is sold out prior to this date. When you arrive at the event you will be asked to show your ticket to staff (either printed or electronic).
In the event of unfavourable weather conditions or a change in government COVID-19 restrictions, this event may be cancelled or rescheduled. Please ensure your email address is accurate as you will receive a booking confirmation and any receive additional information or changes to the event by email.
You should carefully read the following information to ensure you are aware of all requirements relating to this event. This information is regularly updated and may not be the same as information on previous events you may have registered for.
• In line with government regulations and our COVID Safe Plan, tickets for this event are limited to ensure we practice safe social distancing.
• When registering for the event, you must register for a ticket for yourself and each person attending (including every baby, toddler and child).
• When registering you will be required to provide your best contact number. In the event of a COVID-19 outbreak or the positive COVID-19 test result of an attendee, your contact details may be provided for contact tracing if directed by the Department of Health.
• If you or someone in your family are feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms on the day of the event, please stay at home. If you attend the event with flu-like symptoms, staff will advise you to return home and to seek medical advice.
• Antibacterial wipes and hand sanitiser will be available at the event. Attendees are asked to make use of the hygiene measures available on arrival at the event and again when departing.
• A photographer will be in attendance at this event. If you don’t want to be photographed, or have your family photographed, please let the photographer know. Please note: any photos taken may be used in DMFS publications, online or on social media.
• Parents are required to remain onsite to supervise their children.

• If you become unable to attend the event, please cancel your booking by clicking on the link in your confirmation email ‘View and manage your order online’. This takes you to your ‘Tickets’ page where you can choose the ‘Cancel my Order’ option to release the tickets back to the event listing.
• Due to changing COVID environment and the potential need for contact tracing, it’s important that you do not transfer your tickets to another family.
The waitlist will show automatically on the registration page once the event is fully booked. If you’d like to register on the waitlist, complete the ‘Contact Information’ form for every individual person who requires a ticket. For example, if three family members require a ticket you should complete the ‘Contact Information’ form three times.
