Please join us for an afternoon of beautiful vocal music!This recital program will feature a variety of sacred works by Bach, Mozart, and local composer, Scott Hansen. Bach's Cantata 51, Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen! (Rejoice unto God in all Lands!), will feature Dario Martin on piano and Tristan Hovest on Trumpet. Four Woman, a song cycle for soprano and piano composed by UAF Alumni, Scott Hansen, depicts four New Testament women and their interactions with the Messiah. Finally, the program will conclude with Mozart's Exsultate, Jubilate (Rejoice, Be Glad) featuring a string quartet of talented Fairbanks artists, Thom McLean, Michael Austin, Laurie Long, & Daniel Strawser.
