FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2026 — Amulet returns to DC-proper for the first time in over two years at the legendary Pie Shop DC.
Joined by dark synth duo Dead Cool and the debut performance of HAEZL (of 2DCAT and AL1CE fame), this is going to be an incredibly sick night of dirty hard beats and catchy melodies.
Rounded out with DJ Missguided on the decks spinning darkwave, industrial, and goth…get your Demonias ready for this one.

DEAD COOL (Wilmington, NC)
Dead Cool takes its name from a Chrome Cranks cut, a sly nod that hints at the duo’s taste for grit and glamour in equal measure. Johnny drives the songs with a mix of voice, synth, and guitar that shifts shape from track to track, while Angela anchors the pulse on bass and lifts the melodies with her harmonies. Together they strike a balance between urgency and atmosphere, somewhere in the wide terrain of darkwave, post-punk, and synthpop.
Since 2020, they’ve been building momentum the old-fashioned way: stage by stage, crowd by crowd. In the States, they’ve left their mark at Absolution Fest in Tampa and Dark Castle Fest in Louisville. Across the Atlantic, they’ve carried the same energy into nights at London’s Slimelight and Italy’s Midnight Club in Bergamo. Along the way, they’ve shared bills with Bootblacks, ACTORS, Astari Nite, Korine, Vision Video, and QUAL, Leather Strip, Dancing Plague…bands that, like them, thrive in the after-hours where dance and drama meet.

HAEZL (Washington, DC)
Haezl is an independent "opera singer turned alt-electronic" artist who blends genres to create dark pop and electronic music.
Musical Style and Background: Haezl, known for her powerful vocal training, has performed opera globally but now dedicates herself to writing and producing her own original music. Her style is characterized by a blend of ethereal vocals and dark, synthetic soundscapes.
Future Project: HAEZL is actively working on a forthcoming concept album titled The Electric Universe, which she describes as an immersive experience involving an accompanying an alternate reality game (ARG). In 2024, she released her first full album named "The God You Feed."
HAEZL is also the lead singer for the synth pop duo 2DCAT and has toured with AL1CE for two years as backup vocals, theremin and percussion.
