Endreign refers to the...end of a reign. Basically the current park officers step down and the new cabinet [Monarch, Regent, Prime Minister, Guildmaster of Reeves] steps in.
Come by for more elaborate battlegames and a potluck.
We meet at Essex Park near the pavilion and archery range on the north side of Rochester, MN in the summer. Location and availability varies depending on the weather, especially for winter so check the Facebook Group in the event of weather or for updates based on events for the week.
Amtgard is a free to play Foamstick Fighting, Medieval Fantasy style Boffer Combat Sport, with LARP style mechanics. There are multiple non-combat components as well such as Arts and Sciences for artists, crafty folks and builders; Bardic Performance to demonstrate performance arts like singing and poetry; and Roleplay and character interactions; as well as a unique social club and in-game politics for often nerdy folks.
We have loaner and extra equipment for new folks. If new and interested in fighting, recommend bringing kneepads, gloves, hat, and any other athletic protective equipment.
Ethereal Tides is the name of the local Rochester Group [Park], part of the tri-state area known as the Kingdom of Polaris [MN, WI, IL].
