Speaker’s Full Bio:
Kathleen Benanti, MMTManual Therapy Educator • Movement and Pain Specialist • Owner, Integrated Sports Therapies & Institute
Born on the Jersey Shore and now rooted in Dallas, Kathleen Benanti brings more than two decades of clinical experience, sharp anatomical insight, and a signature Jersey-direct warmth to everything she does. Her journey began at the University of South Florida, where she put herself through school while building a foundation in movement science and hands-on therapeutic care.
Kathleen is a Master Myoskeletal Therapist (MMT) and one of only six senior instructors worldwide entrusted to teach Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques for the Freedom From Pain Institute. Her teaching reflects years of deep study under the late Erik Dalton and years spent learning from respected educators throughout the manual therapy field. In addition to MAT, Kathleen is part of the inaugural cohort of Orthopedic Massage practitioners certified by James Waslaski. She also holds advanced certification in Neuromuscular Reprogramming (NMR) with Jocelyn Olivier and she is a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEAS).
For nearly 25 years, Kathleen has specialized in injury resolution and performance enhancement for elite endurance athletes while also treating everyday humans seeking lasting relief and better movement. She is the owner of Integrated Sports Therapies & Institute, a hybrid clinic and educational hub known for high-level manual and movement therapy. Kathleen has traveled extensively to study with leading instructors, and she brings those same world-class educators to Dallas so local therapists can learn from the best without leaving home.
As an instructor, Kathleen is known for her clarity, humor, and ability to translate complex biomechanics and pain science into practical, usable concepts. Her workshops attract visual, kinesthetic, and neurodivergent learners who want to go beyond techniques and gain a deeper understanding of how and why the body responds the way it does.
