Amsterdam Techno Sessions is a weekly Techno event, held every Thursday, in Amsterdam.Every week local and international artists are invited to showcase their work and personal interpretation of Techno.
DAVID LEESE
David Leese is an Amsterdam-based DJ, who is well known for his fresh, diverse DJ sets and enthusiastic performances. With many years of experience, David knows how to play the crowd with his refined choice of techno music.
His move to the capital of The Netherlands at the beginning of 2012 gave his career a real boost. He became a resident at the Beatroom events and played at many clubs and festivals such as Paradiso, Melkweg, Air, Studio 80, Sugar Factory, Ruigoord, Mystic Garden Festival and Loveland Festival. The last couple of years he also got the chance to visit some new countries. Some of the highlights were Arsenal Fest in Serbia, Groove on the Grass in Dubai, YinYang Music Festival on the Great Wall of China and a tour to India.
Since May 2017 David is part of 50:Hertz, a techno platform with a weekly, globally broadcasted radio show that also facilitates events, masterclasses and panels during Dancefair and Amsterdam Dance Event. Moreover in the spring of 2019 50:Hertz started its own experience-driven concept called Orbis.
In the summer of 2019, David got his first release out on Minitech Recordings, another milestone for this experienced artist.
Marco Ramos is a Portuguese bohemian DJ/producer, art, music and nightlife lover, based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
His excellent mixing technique and musical sensibility, allows him to easily adapt to the reality of the dance floors, leaving at the same time its own trademark.
His distinctive mixing style and eclectic sets make him a very versatile DJ mixing from house, techno to electro. Whenever he is around one thing is always guaranteed, the party is ON!
As a DJ he played in key clubs and music festivals in Portugal, Spain, Netherlands and Germany as Nature One Festival, Kadoc, Cais Ao Rio, Attika Disco, Domus, Indústria, Lenox Club, Sugar Factory, Reset Club, The Crane Faralda Hotel, Tropics, Bumpers, Coimbra Dance Event and shared the stage with international artists as Alexi Delano, A.Paul, Ben Long, Billy Dalessandro, Billy Nasty, Carl Craig, DJ Emerson, DJ Ze Mig-L, Industrialyzer, Frank Kvitta, Gary Beck, Jeff Mills, Mark Flash, Misc., Rebekah, Ritzi Lee, Submerge, Vince Watson, Torsten Kanzler, The Advent and live acts as Da Weasel, Terrakota, Kussondulola, Blasted Mechanism among many others... After his first release on Subsist Records, he´s currently busy working on his own productions and collaborating with several Amsterdam techno movements.
