Originating in Spain during the mid-19th century, Café Cantantes were cultural hubs that showcased the mesmerizing fusion of singing and guitar playing, playing a pivotal role in preserving and evolving Flamenco.

Despite facing prohibition during Franco's dictatorship, Flamenco rekindled cultural interest beyond the confines of bars and private parties, reaching diverse social classes and transcending Andalusian borders.

Join us on the last Thursday of every month as Torpedo Theater proudly revives the spirit of "Café Cantantes."

Tonight's featured artists are the emotional Vangelis el Grecio, enchanting the audience with his soulful singing, and the talented Lucas Aranco, weaving magic with his guitar.
