They played an important role in flamenco's preservation and development and after its prohibition, during Franco's dictatorship, it began to arouse great cultural interest among the general public, ceasing to be known by a minority locked up in bars, taverns, or private parties and reaching social classes, even outside the Andalusian borders.
Torpedo theater is happy to host this series of "Café Cantantes" every last Thursday of the month.
