?The Monxton & Amport Village Fete is back July 6th from 12-4 pm! ??We have a an amazing lineup for the arena this year with performances from the Amesbury Soul Singers, Louise Vincent School of Dance, and a very special visit from Frozen’s Princess Anna and Encanto’s Mirabel courtesy of the magical folk at Jollypop Entertainment. ✨
Our wonderful dog show will also be returning with categories to suit all your furry friends.
For the older children, we have a super slide and a chance to test your aim at Ironsight’s laser tag. You can enjoy classic fete games like skittles, welly wanging, splat the rat and beat the goalie. Bridge End Alpacas will be hosting alpaca encounters,a chance to meet and learn all about these beautiful, characterful creatures. In Curiosity Corner we have a shaded area for crafts, pottery painting and story time where little ones can take a minute to try their hand at origami,dough crafting, hook the duck or listen to their favourite tale whilst creating a masterpiece to hang in our children’s gallery !
For lunch we have three incredible food vans: Son of a Bun, the authentic flavours of The Travelling Thai, and the best sandwiches around from The Foccacia Company. We are very pleased to announce that once more the lovely Kate Griffin of Wessex Spirits will be crafting up a very special new village Gin: “Sundown at Haydown-Limited Edition Sunset Gin”
