Since ADR launched its 30UNDER30 program in 2022, it has swiftly become a benchmark achievement for emerging designers and leaders in the built environment. Every year more and more young professionals apply hoping to join the cohort. But as the number of applications grows, how can an aspiring participant stand out sufficiently to be selected?

In this panel discussion, past cohort members share the secrets of their success in pulling together their portfolios and presentations, while past judge/mentor Eva Sue and 2026/27 judge/mentor Sophie Bond will reveal what were the traits and characteristics that made her sit up, take notice and choose those who made the final 30 over the other potential candidates on the shortlist.
