About this Event

Join us on May 14th for Amplifying Women's Voices to learn how to negotiate with confidence. We will have a conversation about understanding your professional value, balancing assertiveness with empathy, and preparing to negotiate from a position of strength. Our amazing panel of expert leaders includes:
Marianne Bornhoft, REAL Broker and Co-Owner of Bornhoft Commercial. Marianne has over 29 years of residential and commercial real estate experience, is GREEN designated and has strong commitment to sustainability. She was named the Inlander 2024 Best Real Estate Agent, as has received past awards for Realtor of the Year and the Realtor Community Service Award. Marianne served on the Washington Realtors Board of Directors for 10 years and the National Association of Realtors for 3 years.
Tara Brown, Treasury Management Officer at Idaho Central Credit Union. Tara has been in the financial services industry for 25 years and has experience in business lending, payment solutions, client relationship development, and treasury management. She is currently Treasurer for the West Plains Chamber of Commerce and has served on the boards of Leadership Spokane, the East Spokane Business Association, and the Spokane Targeted Investment Pilot Program.
Sherri Lynch, Ph.D., Assistant Dean at Gonzaga University's School of Leadership Studies. Sherri Co-Founded Gonzaga's Women Lead program and strives to empower women toward personal and career advancement. She teaches in the Comprehensive Leadership Program, is certified as a Learning in Action Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, and provides external organizations with customized leadership education. She serves on the YWCA of Spokane Board of Directors for YWCA of Spokane and is Vice Chair for the Canopy Credit Union Board.
Darby McLean, Chief Executive Officer at Spiceology, a Spokane company on Inc. magazine's list of 5,000 fastest growing companies the past 5 years. Darby spent 20 years in the biotech and food technology industries and holds numerous patents as an inventor. She serves on the Gonzaga New Venture Lab Board and Chairs both the EWU Dean's Board for CSTEM and the EWU Center for Entrepreneurship Advisory Board. Darby was named a Spokane Journal of Business 2024 Person of Influence.
Gloria Ochoa-Bruck, City of Spokane Municipal Court Judge. Gloria is the first Latina to serve on the bench in Spokane County and is a true community leader. She serves on the Boards of Empire Health Foundation, Numerica Credit Union, and Providence Health Systems, and as a Trustee for the Washington State Bar Association Foundation. She was named a Top 20 Under 40 and a Top Lawyer by Spokane CDA Living Magazine.
