Learn the signs and impact of being underserved, unheard and unseen in receiving quality maternal care. The event will further enrich the dialogue surrounding the issue of infant mortality among Black and Brown babies, providing a crucial platform for discussing and addressing the disparities and challenges that contribute to this pressing concern within our communities. Lunch and Learn session provided to the first 75 sign up/ attendees. The 45-minute Lunch & Learn session will allow up to 75 moms, presented by Dr. Cherie Richey, President of Columbus Women's Care and clinical instructor for both the Mt Carmel nurse practitioner program and The Ohio University nurse practitioner program. 2- Mental and Maternal Health specialist, Shieniece Simms and Carol Thomas will lead 30- minute break-out sessions. which will consist of mini support group sessions for women to gain guidance and education with struggles they encounter during pregnancy and being a new mom. Parent & Baby Gifts available to registered attendees Face Painting for children 2-12 years. Food Truck and Cold beverages available
