Amplify Empathy & Summit - Resourcing Responsive, Resilient Community

We warmly invite you to join us for our hybrid Global Empathy Summit (we will be online and in-person for the summit) and Amplify Empathy gathering (Free).

We encourage you to attend the whole event but you may join for the morning or afternoon session only.

This will be a day devoted to nurturing the roots of a more connected, compassionate global civilization — through the cohesive and generative power of empathy.

This gathering will center around the empathy summit, the first hour, which we will participate in together while being online, and two Empathy Circles (ECs) — one right after the summit at 11 and one in the afternoon — with a generous lunch break and space for informal connection and rest.

Possible Topics We Might Explore Together:

• Can participating regularly in Empathy Circles make you healthier?
• Is there a shadow side to empathy?
• Can the practice of listening and speaking in ECs refine your inner awareness?
• What is the somatic experience of receiving empathy?
• How do we practice freedom of speech and brave listening in community?
• And… whatever is alive in your heart and mind

You’re welcome to come for the whole day or just a portion, but we ask that anyone participating in an Empathy Circle please stay for its full duration to preserve the integrity of the process.

This is a free event. Donations to The Empathy Center are welcome and appreciated.
