Amplify Credit Union’s 2026 Central Texas Affordability Summit

Join Amplify Credit Union for the third Central Texas Affordability Summit on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

This year’s program will bring together independent workers, small business owners, creators and civic advocates for a focused conversation on affordability and the future of non-W2 work in Central Texas. As more people in their 20s and 30s earn income outside of traditional employment, we’re creating space to talk about what financial resilience looks like now and what support systems are needed to get there.

The free event includes a catered breakfast and a keynote from Janice Omadeke, a nationally recognized Austin-based entrepreneur, author and expert on the future of work. Additional programming includes a panel featuring Kathy Kuras, president and CEO of the Greater Austin YMCA, Rachel Elsberry, founder of Problem Solver Insurance Solutions and Ryan Machala, broker and owner at Icon Realty, discussing the pathways and supports behind nontraditional work. Interactive breakout discussions will give guests space to share and explore their own experiences.
