A core Berghain resident, his productions and DJ sets are a masterclass in tension and release : deep, hypnotic, and relentlessly powerful. His label, Figure, continues to shape the sound of contemporary techno, always pushing boundaries while staying true to the underground.
Marcel Dettmann embodies the raw, stripped-back essence of Berlin techno. As one of Berghain’s longest-standing residents, his deep knowledge of electronic music history translates into sets that balance industrial toughness with unexpected emotion. A purveyor of timeless, forward-thinking sound, he seamlessly moves between past and present, cementing his status as one of the most respected figures in the scene.
Steve Rachmad, a true pioneer of Dutch electronic music, has spent decades refining a sound deeply rooted in Detroit techno yet unmistakably his own. A master of groove and melody, his productions under various monikers have shaped generations of electronic artists. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, his ability to blend soul, rhythm, and precision makes him an essential name in the global techno landscape.
