A CIC is a community interest company Parish Events CIC was set up in 2023. AMPED is a space we are taking on under the CIC with the aim of bringing more live music & cultural events to Huddersfield. As well as a space to be used by community groups & social groups affordably.
Being a community interest company means ALL profits are reinvested with the sole purpose of carrying out the companies goals & targets. And our goal is to make Huddersfield miles better!
We are going to run this venue as transparently as we can, we will be completely open to any of the community becoming trustees & getting involved in any part of the companies activities.
Through our social media & our website we will let you all know what we are up to, whether it’s applying for funding, discussing matters with the council or putting events on. Everything will be as visible & accessible as it can be.
It also means we will be looking for sponsors, partners & donations to help us be as successful as we can be. Anything you spend or donate will be reinvested in the company, its equipment & the culture we want to bring to the town.
We are having an opening night party on the 20th SEPTEMBER 2025 and everyone is invited!. It’s donation entry & we’d love as many people to come down as possible, to get a good look at the space & see the kind of things we want to get up to. We will have a discounted bar & live music as well as more information about our plans & aims.
We want the space to be accessible to anyone who wants to use it; we will offer very affordable hire, if you want to use our equipment or host events, put gigs on, put exhibitions on then please get in touch.
We want to develop the space & turn it in to a high quality, multi purpose space for everyone to use.
