El Arte de Amar Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families through the power of art bilingual education and human development. We don’t just aim to create artists—we help build confident compassionate human beings with purpose and voice.
Our program is open to all children: those who have experienced emotional or family struggles children with low self-esteem children with special needs children with artistic talents and children from diverse backgrounds who wish to learn Spanish as a second language. We believe that art and language are healing bridges—tools for personal and
cultural transformation.
Through painting music theater and other fine arts children discover their unique gifts and the courage to dream beyond their circumstances. They learn empathy discipline and creative expression. So far we have supported more than 300 families across Sacramento Modesto and Stockton and 33 young people have graduated from high school through our program ready to pursue higher education.
Today more families from Stockton and Modesto are asking for our services and we’re beginning to receive new students from those cities. Parents are asking us to expand El Arte de Amar to their communities. Our dream is to grow
but the reality is difficult: each month we struggle just to pay the rent on the space where we hold our programs.
"This IS MORE THAN A FIESTA! “ — it’s the union of our community building the leaders of tomorrow.”
We form whole children not to repair broken adults "
