About this Event

Classical music has so many giants often heard on Classic FM and Radio 3. We have selected three of the most loved for you today to ensure you feel uplifted and happy.

After the excitement of Wagner’s Prelude to Act 3 of Lohengrin local pianist Tom Kimmance is our soloist for Grieg’s Piano Concerto. Following the interval Rachmaninov Symphony No 2, jam- packed full of melodies, tension and the sublime calm of the third movement, will complete this concert.

Conductor Edward Peak will guide you through the pieces as part of our Fab Five Series: Painting Pictures and Telling Tales.
