What happens when Black men are given the time, space, and trust to have the conversations that too often go unspoken?
About this Event

Presented by Black Mental Health Village in partnership with The Village and Creative Girls Rock, Among Brothers is a community-centered gathering where honest dialogue, reflection, and collective wisdom take center stage. Using an unconference format, participants will help shape the conversation around the realities of Black men's health, healing, relationships, safety, and what it means to care for ourselves and one another.

Together, we'll create room for conversations that are often postponed, including mental wellbeing, preventative health, and the "check engine lights" we too often ignore. Healthcare professionals, community leaders, and brothers from across Nashville will join us not as lecturers, but as participants in a shared conversation. Facilitators include Rico X, Marc Anthony Peek, and Benaias Esayeas.

Whether you come to speak, listen, or simply be in community, your presence matters.
