Fighting Footwork & Sparking SeminarPresented by Tom Sotis
Fighting Footwork:
You will learn how to use footwork when attacking to achieve positional advantages: how to close the gap when they retreat, and how to attack along angular lines. You will learn how to move your opponent off their base and how to create a misalignment in your favor and capitalize upon it.
When countering attacks, we'll cover how to most efficiently move offline and how to set up your opponent to step into your positional trap.
Sparking:
Learn a series of counters that combine blade and empty-hand counter-striking combos to gain advantages in a close-quarters exchange.
No outside footwear is permitted on the mats.
