THE JOINT IS JUMPIN’ AT CARNEGIE HALL

— Jimmy Roberts recalls the glamour of New York in music and words

Jimmy Roberts is a pianist, singer, and performer known for a uniquely personal style that fuses classical prowess with musical theater and jazz sensibilities, blending humor, storytelling, and exceptional musical talent into an afternoon you will long remember. Off Broadway, he composed the second longest-running show in New York theater history, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Drama Desk nominee).

This concert marks a milestone year – the 50th Anniversary of AIUSA Group 11 benefit concerts. Paul O’Brien, Executive Director of Amnesty International USA, will introduce this program.

Amnesty International is a global movement of more than 10 million people advocating for human rights in over 150 nations. As one of Amnesty International’s longest-serving groups, Group 11, based on Manhattan's Upper West Side, has defended human rights in Iran, China, Myanmar, Russia, and the United States over the years. The proceeds from this concert help defer operating costs for Group 11.
