Amigurumi Plants Crochet Course - Edinburgh (FULL DAY)

This full day course will give you a thorough introduction to the art of amigurumi as well as a ton of other crochet skills.

Throughout this full day course you will learn several crochet skills and then put them into practice by making some beautiful mini succulent plants: Crassula, Ball Cactus and Purple Echeveria!

We will learn skill such as:

• Magic circle
• Amigurumi
• Ribbing
• Stitch placement
• Creating shapes

And more!

Participants are invited to work at their own pace, and learn skills as they are ready to do so. This crochet course is open to beginners as well as seasoned crocheters - with a great introduction to many crochet skills.

Our day will start at 10am, where you will head to The Library in The Salisbury centre for a gentle tea and coffee fuelled start. We will then spend the morning learning amigurumi to make a base for our plants. After lunch (where you are welcome to wander in the beautiful garden), we will return for an afternoon of learning futher crochet skills to create shapes and form our plants. Finishing at 4.30 with a bag full of crochet and a smile on your face.

During the session there will be plenty of crochet time, but also tea and coffee breaks, where you are welcome to use the beautiful garden the Salisbury centre. Tea break snacks will be provided, but you will need to bring your own lunch (or pop out to one of the shops nearby). Please do let me know of any dietary requirments or allergies in advance.

All materials will be provided for this workshop, in a kit for you to use during the course, and then take home with you to carry on crocheting!
