About this Event

If you'd love to learn how to make your own crochet toys - this introductory workshop is the best place to start! In this class, we will use amigurumi (the crochet technique for making toys) and some super soft yarn to make a cute little bumblebee!

In this class, we will learn the standard amigurumi techniques, including:

- Magic Circle

- Increasing

- Decreasing

- Colour changes

-Sewing pieces together

There versatile techniques are repeated in all amigurumi patterns, so although this bumblebee may be small, it is a great first amigurumi project!

This workshop takes place in The Library of The Salisbury Centre where tea and coffee will be available throughout. This workshop is suitable for anyone over the age of 11, but please be aware this is not a children only event.

All materials are provided, and you will take your hook and yarn home with you for more crocheting.

*Crochet Club! runs regularly with different crochet workshops in Edinburgh, Glasgow, West Lothian and Online - if you cant make this one, make sure to check out the other projects you could make!*:
