Due to local guidelines, and in accordance with the CDC, Women Who Explore will be limiting the number of attendees per event. In order to comply with these guidelines, each member attending the event will be required to register through Eventbrite. In the event you successfully register, and then are unable to attend, please release the ticket so that another member may attend.   • Pack your full supply of water for the day
  • Pack snacks & a light meal.

  • Dress warm & in layers. Consider wearing a base layer & bringing an extra.

  • Warm gloves & hat

  • Rain coat top layer

  • Shoes with good traction

  • A light backpack to put layers in as you shed them

  • Handwarmers & toe warmers (optional)
• Headlamp or flashlight
• Personal COVID hygiene kit

** PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified. This is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.**

EVENT GUIDELINES FOR COVID:


By registering for this event, participants agree to abide by the guidelines set forth by Women Who Explore which include:


  • Practice social distancing.

  • Carry a personal hygiene kit (mask and hand sanitizer) and have it available during the event.

  • Refrain from sharing transportation, gear, food or close spaces with others outside of your household.

  • Practice self-awareness and do not attend if you have had any flu-like symptoms, exposed to or have tested positive for Covid in the last 14 days.
  • Post-event: anyone who develops flu-like symptoms within 14 days after joining an event should contact the ambassador and Women Who Explore at [email protected].

CANCELLATION POLICY:


If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 3 days prior to the day of the event as this allows other women who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.
