Celebrate America's 250th with Purpose and Pride at a special event hosted by the Tirrell Room Quincy in support of Operation Homefront. Join us for an afternoon of family fun, live music, prizes, and Americana-themed cookout and special guests as we honor the strength and sacrifices of our military and veteran families. Bring your friends; bring your spirit, and be part of a celebration that gives back.
There will be vendors, including face-painting, balloon animals, popcorn, toys and more! There is no cost for the event, but a suggested $20 donation to the cause is appreciated; $10 suggested donation for veterans and military spouses; children under 15 are always free. Sponsors, corporate partners, and donors to the door prizes and silent auction are greatly appreciated.
All proceeds will benefit veteran and military families who are struggling to make ends meet today, including financial assistance with rent & mortgage, utilities, food, home repairs, auto payments & insurance, childcare and other basic needs.
The the day starts with a Motorcycle Run at 11 am that travels from the Tirrell Room to the Scituate Lighthouse and back just in time for the 1 pm cookout. Registration is 9:00 am and riders are welcome! Please email [email protected] to preregister for the RUN. Cost is $20 for riders and $15 for passengers, and all riders get an event tee shirt.
