About this Event
Join us for an exhilarating evening of music that celebrates the richness of American sound and beyond!
From the lively rhythms of Duke Ellington’s Giggling Rapids and Copland’s spirited Hoe-Down to the nostalgic charm of Scott Joplin’s Maple Leaf Rag, this program is a journey through dynamic landscapes and timeless melodies.
We are once again proud to partner with Burlingame Music Club to present the winner of their annual Competition. This concert, we will feature Huisun Hong, brilliant young cellist, performing the third movement of Dvorák's Cello Concerto.
The heartfelt passion of "If I Were A Rich Man" and the grandeur of Howard Hanson’s Symphony No. 2 set the stage for a thrilling finale with Gershwin’s jazz-infused An American in Paris. Don’t miss this vibrant celebration of musical storytelling!
