American Red Cross First Aid, CPR & AED Instructor Certification

This course has been updated to include the latest 2025 ECC Guidelines and provides instructor candidates with the skills and knowledge to teach the American Red Cross basic-level First Aid, CPR and AED courses. The instructor certification is valid for 2 years. The instructor certification fee is $425.00.

Prerequisites:

Be at least 18 years of age.

Have current basic-level American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED certificate or equivalent.

Complete an online orientation to the American Red Cross.

Complete the online First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Precourse accessible through the ARC learning center.
