Join us in honoring America’s Bravest at the 12th Anniversary of the American Indian Veteran National Memorial. All veterans are welcome, and any veterans attending the ceremony will receive a limited-edition challenge coin. Established in 2012, the American Indian Veteran National Memorial recognizes the significant role Native Americans have played in the U.S. Armed Forces and honors their commitment to protecting our freedoms. This special Veterans Day tribute celebrates the service and sacrifice of American Indian veterans throughout U.S. history.
Keynote Speaker:
This year, we are honored to welcome Mark Woommavovah, retired Lt. Col., U.S. Army, as our keynote speaker. A lifelong advocate for leadership, balance, and integrity, Mark has been an influential mentor and former Chairman of the Comanche Nation. In addition to his military service, he is the author of the children’s book The Little Indian Runner and a dedicated community leader who inspires others to lead a life of passion and purpose.
Veterans plus one guest receive free museum admission all week, from Tuesday, Nov. 5 through Sunday, Nov. 10.
