What is American Heritage Girls?
American Heritage Girls (AHG) is a Christ-centered leadership and character development program for girls ages 6 and up. Through badges, outdoor adventures, service projects, hands-on learning, and meaningful friendships, girls are encouraged to grow in their faith while developing confidence and practical life skills.
What to Expect
Parents will attend an informational meeting where we’ll cover:
• What AHG is all about
• Membership and uniform fees
• Troop expectations
• Our meeting schedule
• Plenty of time for questions
Girls will enjoy a real AHG meeting experience!
New girls will begin earning their Joining Award, while returning girls can complete it as a refresher. They’ll participate in fun activities, meet new friends, and get a glimpse of everything our troop has planned this year.
✨ This year we’ll be earning our Cake Decorating Badge, along with many other exciting badges, participating in service projects, exploring the outdoors, and making unforgettable memories together!
Our troop meets every other Wednesday from 10:30 AM–12:00 PM, with occasional field trips, service projects, and special events throughout the year.
Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment where girls can grow in their faith, develop lifelong skills, serve others, and build lasting friendships.
There is no obligation to join by attending the Open House. We’d simply love the opportunity to meet your family and answer your questions.
Girls should wear comfortable clothing for activities.
Siblings are welcome to attend the parent meeting. During our regular troop meetings throughout the year, younger siblings are welcome to enjoy the church playground or play in the church playroom with a parent while the troop meets.
