American Heart Association - Instructor Certification - Kansas

We work with individuals and businesses all across Kansas who need AHA Instructor Training, such as in Kansas City, Kansas, Topeka, Wichita, Dodge City, Hays, Colby, Salina, Overland Park, Manhattan, etc. With an online portion and a virtual zoom session, you can become an AHA certified instructor from your home or place of business.

Is your Zoom instructor class the same certification as an in-person class?

Yes. All of our American Heart Association virtual hands-on Zoom classes meet OSHA, Government, and Workplace Requirements. Our hands-on virtual Zoom classes are approved and follow the American Heart Association guidelines. They carry the exact same certification as in-person classes.

You will receive a full instructor certification after completing both the online Instructor essentials eLearning portion and then joining our Zoom class for the instructor-led hands-on portion. Your certificate and card will be the exact same as what you would receive at an in-person group class.

Steps of the AHA Instructor Class:

1. Register with us for the BLS or Heartsaver Instructor class.
2. Complete the Instructor essentials eLearning portion of the class.
3. We ship all necessary supplies to you before the zoom meeting if you don't have your own manikins.
4. We connect over zoom and complete the hands-on skills portion of the class.
5. You receive your certification within a couple of days and can begin teaching then.

This is a blended virtual instructor class that can be taken by anyone in the US, including Kansas.

As an AHA BLS Instructor, you'll be able to teach AHA Heartsaver and BLS courses at your place of employment or outside work, teach individual classes, ability to issue certification cards to students, post your classes on the AHA class locator, and teach anywhere in the US.

• Alignment with our training center
• Initial Class Monitoring. Done during this class and good for 2 years.

As an AHA BLS Instructor, you'll be able to teach the following classes:

• AHA BLS Provider
• AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED
• AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED
• AHA HeartSaver Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED
• AHA Heartsaver for K-12 Schools
• AHA Heartsaver First Aid Only
• AHA Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens

You will also be able to:

• Teach at your place of employment or outside work by holding your own classes.
• Ability to issue certification cards to students.
• Post your classes on the AHA class locator.
• Teach anywhere in the US.
