American Dance Odyssey

Two leading South Florida cultural institutions – New World Symphony (NWS) and Miami City Ballet – join forces to present the world premiere of American Dance Odyssey, a choreographic concerto, April 17, 18 and 19 at the New World Center in the heart of Miami Beach.

Conducted by NWS Artistic Director Stéphane Denève, American Dance Odyssey is the brainchild of ten composers and choreographers collaborating to create an original body of work. The immersive experience will also feature a special tribute to legendary choreographer Jerome Robbins, famous for some of Broadway’s most iconic musicals including West Side Story, Gypsy, Fiddler on the Roof, Fancy Free and more!
