About this Event

Join us on Sept. 30 from 7:00-8:30 PM in the Commons for our signature roundtable featuring four distinctive perspectives on the human person and the Declaration of Independence. Designed especially for our upperclassmen, the evening is also an opportunity for parents and the wider St. Ambrose community to join the conversation.

Our hope is to model how thoughtful people approaching these questions from different perspectives can engage in a robust and civil conversation about our national creed.

Guests include:

  • Bishop Donald J. Hying, Fifth Bishop of Madison
  • Mr. Tom Barrett, former Mayor of Milwaukee and Ambassador to Luxembourg
  • Dr. Jeffrey Clark, UW-Madison Professor of Political Theory
  • Dr. Michelle Schwarze, UW-Madison Associate Professor of Political Theory

The roundtable will be moderated by Mr. Michael Kwas, St. Ambrose Academy Department of History Chair.
