Come enjoy a presentation from Dr. Devan Stahl, Dr. Tyler Gibb, Prof. Kristin Alyousif, and Grainne Caughey about Operation Tat-Type on May 16 at 4 PM in the Logan Library Community Rooms. In this presentation, the research team will share the background, local details, and lasting legacy of Operation Tat-Type. Cache Valley is a particularly vivid chapter: hundreds of children were tattooed. We’ll share what we’ve learned through archival research and interviews, and we’ll also identify what we still don’t know about this unique moment in American history. This event is an invitation; we’re seeking community input, family stories, and oral histories from individuals and families connected to the program in Cache Valley and surrounding areas.
