From the war in Iran, to Russian appeasement, to antagonizing allies around the globe, it is no secret that the United States must turn a corner in foreign and military policy. November 3rd, 2026 will be a pivotal moment in American political history. Whichever way the vote breaks, the new slate of incoming lawmakers will be faced with the challenge of reclaiming American credibility abroad.

And on a day like Veterans Day, the best way we can honor our servicemembers is to listen, learn, and look forward at the monumental task of reestablishing the US as a credible and cooperative global presence.
