As part of our celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the museum will host a special community event on Saturday, June 27, 2026, inviting visitors to help create a collaborative quilt that reflects the many voices and stories that shape our nation.
During this one-day program in the museum rotunda, visitors of all ages can design a fabric square sharing what America means to them and highlighting their unique contributions to the American story. Each square will become part of our America 250 Community Quilt!
The event is included with museum admission and is open to all ages.
