🇺🇸 America 250 Celebration & Liberty Tree Dedication 🇺🇸
Join the Old Three Hundred Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), as we celebrate America's 250th Anniversary with a special community event at Crosby Park!
The celebration begins at 9:00 a.m. with a Liberty Tree Presentation and Dedication Ceremony led by Tom Ramsey, featuring the Crosby High School JROTC Color Guard. During the ceremony, a commemorative Liberty Tree and plaque sponsored by the Old Three Hundred Chapter DAR will be dedicated. The Liberty Tree serves as a historic symbol of American independence and the enduring principles of liberty upon which our nation was founded.
We are also honored to welcome Lisa Worthen, longtime Crosby resident and former Crosby High School Choir Director, as our special guest vocalist.
At 9:30 a.m., guests are invited to the Community Center for an America 250 Birthday Cake Celebration featuring cake, refreshments, and fellowship as we commemorate this historic milestone together.
From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., families can enjoy free activities at the Crosby Park Pavilion, including:
⭐ Community Food Drive
🇺🇸 America 250 Commemorative Tile Dedication
🇺🇸 Historical and Patriotic Displays
🎯 Children's Activities and Games
🌭 Hot Dogs
🍧 Snow Cones
🥫 Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item to support local Veterans in need.
