'AMEND: The Fight For America'Docuseries and Discussion
This docuseries, hosted by actor Will Smith, brings together legal scholars and contemporary artists to examine the path to citizenship in the United States of America through the lens of the 14th Amendment.
The University of Alabama Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion offers this six-week viewing and discussion series as a professional development initiative available only to faculty and staff at UA.
Space is limited to allow for social distancing.
Time Commitment
- Participants will meet weekly to view a one-hour episode followed by a facilitated discussion.
- Those who sign up may choose either Cohort 1 (Mondays) or Cohort 2 (Tuesdays). Please choose only one cohort.
- Lunch will be provided by Bama Dining, a co-sponsor for the event.
