Experience the remarkable talent of Amelia White, a seasoned troubadour whose journey through the music scene is as compelling as her melodies. Following her breakthrough album “Rhythm of the Rain,” Amelia is set to captivate audiences once again with her latest release, “Love I Swore,” produced by the talented Kim Richey. With a blend of rock and roll, catchy pop, and heartfelt country, this album is a quilt of musical diversity that showcases Amelia’s lyrical prowess and Kim’s meticulous production. Through themes of love, loneliness, and the challenges of life on the road, Amelia’s tongue-in-cheek approach and Kim’s masterful harmonies create a harmonious balance of joy and introspection. Recorded in cozy confines with the likes of Roger Nichols engineering and a stellar lineup of musicians, including Doug Lancio and Mark Pisapia, “Love I Swore” is a testament to Amelia’s unwavering dedication to her craft. Having earned her stripes in Boston, Seattle, and now East Nashville, Amelia’s rise from local gigs to headlining venues is a testament to her talent and resilience. Don’t miss the chance to experience the magic of Amelia White live on stage, where her only focus is to share her music with the world, undeterred by any obstacles along the way.
Amelia White Follows Up Her Breakthrough “Rhythm Of The Rain” With “Love I Swore,” Produced By Kim Richey.
“Amelia White knows how to capture the jagged ways that individuals fall in and out of love and hope. On Love I Swore she conveys the depth of loss that often flows out of broken promises. Produced by Kim Richey, who joins White on background vocals on many of the songs, Love I Swore moves from rollicking rockers to smooth pop grooves.” Henry Carrigan NO DEPRESSION
“From optimism and sheer bliss that graced the first few tracks and at least one along the way, the album grows incrementally despairing lyrically, yet the hook-filled and varied musical accompaniment keeps the listener engaged to White’s consistently potent and verbally direct songwriting. Only the best singer-songwriters have such a gift and White has proven again that she’s one of the few.” Jim Hynes GLIDE
Love I Swore is a testament to White’s powers of persuasion — that is, her ability to involve the listener and leave behind an emphatic impression. It’s everything a set of songs should be — personal, provocative and flush with earnest emotion. As a result, Amelia White has made a definitive statement and also the most defining album of her career. The love she swears to is clearly evident throughout. (by Lee Zimmerman- THE ALTERNATE ROOT
“It’s been a while since I heard a record where every song is my favorite. The production is astoundingly sublime and thoughtful. This collection takes me calmly to the dark edge of town where civilization ends are nothing begins, offering no explanation other than the presence of a charitable breeze.” AMERICANA HIGHWAYS
“The Queen of the East Nashville Underground has seen and heard it all… to see and hear all that and experience her in her Unadorned splendor is a real treat” Amos Lee NO DEPRESSiON
“White writes the most compelling song about tedium since “Dock of the Bay.” Stuck in an unnamed airport, White gripes that she’s “stuck on the ground when I ought to be flying/sitting here watching my battery dying….. It’s silly to start making “best of” lists in mid-February (though, in fairness, a LOT of albums have already come out), but I’ll be surprised if Love I Swore doesn’t wind up somewhere on mine. It’s one I keep coming back to like a comfortable chair. Even if it’s a blue one.” Chris Griffy CONCERTHOPPER
