Join the Appalachian Mountain Club and L.L.Bean as we celebrate a historic milestone: AMC's 150th Anniversary. Throughout 2026, the AMC 150 Relay is traveling more than 2,000 miles from Virginia to Maine by foot, bike, and paddle, connecting communities, volunteers, and outdoor enthusiasts across the Northeast. On August 13, the celebration comes to Freeport, and you're invited.

Visit the L.L.Bean Flagship Campus for a day of hands-on activities, expert demonstrations, and family-friendly programming that showcases the people, places, and ideas shaping the future of the outdoors. Meet AMC staff and volunteers, pick up a complimentary AMC membership, enjoy exclusive discounts, and explore engaging topics ranging from backpacking and hike planning to Maine's dark skies, community science, conservation, and trail stewardship.
