Ambury Cup Dog Trial, Sheep Shearing & Vintage Tractor Rides
About this Event
Watch top shepherds from across the North Island compete for the coveted Ambury Cup in our thrilling sheepdog trial exhibition. An onsite MC will guide you through the action, so grab a spot on the sidelines, settle in with a picnic and enjoy the excitement with the whanau.
Make a morning of it with shearing demonstrations in our purpose-built exhibition shearing shed, vintage tractor rides around the farm (gold coin donation required), and all the usual Ambury fun including our daily milking display (9:45 am), friendly farm animals and exploring the gentle walking tracks throughout the park!
*Dogs are prohibited at Te Ara i Tautahi | Ambury Regional Park, so please leave your furry friends at home*
