Drown out the noise and embark on a sonic journey as Naarm-based ambient musician/producers, IKSRE and Clariloops, team up to present an evening of beautiful, textural, long-format, live looping at Centre of You.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS:

IKSRE (I Keep Seeing Rainbows Everywhere) – is Naarm/Melbourne-based multi instrumentalist, vocalist, producer and sound healer, Phoebe Dubar. She combines field recordings from her beloved Australian bush with lush strings, swirling synths and vocals with ambient drone and binaural beats to create a unique sound which sits somewhere between the yoga studio and the after party. You may be familiar with her sound baths, but this will be an entirely different experience, as she delivers her original music, completely live.

CLARILOOPS (she/her) is the project of Ruby Lulham. Her work blurs the traditional with the modern as she loops clarinet and emboldens it with electronic production on her original tunes. Live, Clariloops creates waves of undulating cascading sounds, with rhythmic but calming results.

Things to note:

Please arrive by 6:30pm to allow spaciousness to visit the bathroom and create your nest. There are plenty of bolsters, blankets and cushions to get cosy with though feel free to bring your own for a felt sense of additional familiarity and groundedness.

Upon leaving home, ask the parking fairy for a Chapel St spot and believe one will be available for you! Spots are unmetered from 6pm. Alternatively park in Anchor Place - the side street which runs opposite the arcade Centre of You is nestled within.
