After a successful Album Launch last year, Amber Wildling Stone and her band bring 'Complicated Contradiction' to the stage as part of her Summer Tour. This is one of 2 Liverpool dates and will also feature brand new unheard material from the release of her new record to be released later this year.Described as bold, memorable and unashamedly honest; eclectic and resonating.
Complicated Contradiction candidly opens the pages of Amber's mind, enabling a rare look into the confusion, vulnerability, exasperation; intimacy and sensuality of a woman's chaotic inner world.
Expect unique, rock powered and country lilting vocals; theatrically charged and colourfully animating catchy and memorable hooks. A 'heart on sleeve' writer, Amber passionately performs her narratives, allowing us into her emotional psyche - sharing her truths, experiences and her perspective of two sided stories. Her music is a lighthouse of empowerment for those that feel 'hard' and have at least at one time, felt they should have come with a Warning Label.
Special guest Mark Harris is a Singer/songwriter from Canterbury in Kent but found a home in Liverpool. Mixing a blend of 60s R&B and 90s indie. With an acoustic guitar as the weapon of choice he becomes the master of 3 chords and the truth. Having supported the likes of Mark Morriss , Tom Hingley and Matt Deighton he stands on the same ladder but just looking up. Mark makes a good noise.
