AIMS OF THE CONTEST
- Encourage young people to actively participate in society by performing in various places
- Promote the professional vocal development of young singers through vocal live performances & contest
- Increase knowledge about different cultures by developing inter-cultural awareness through dialogue and
combating prejudice
- Promote Social Inclusion and Integration of the young people with fewer opportunities in the cultural
society and minimize discrimination of any kind
- Promote young talents on the International level
INTERNATIONAL JURY
The International Board of Jury consists highly professional musicians, singers, vocal coaches from different
EU countries. Jury members are not judging participants of their country ! Maximum points by each judge is
100. The members of Jury selects its prize winners based on summary of points from both days and
combination of factors; musical refinement, vocal technique, versatility, interpretation of the song, song
choice, sensitivity and passion. The jury's decisions are final. The jury President will be appointed by the
contest Directors.
PRIZES & AWARDS
There will be two Grand Prix Winners of the Competition:
JUNIOR ( 7-12 years - €250 )
SENIOR ( 13+ years - €500 )
Participants who will obtained the highest amount of points will receive 1st, 2nd, 3rd place Trophies.
Each age category will have the winners of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Places can be divided between a few singers,
who received nearly the same points from the judges for both days. This decision will be taken by the Board
of Judges and contest Directors.
There will be also Special Prizes and Awards for the impressive and promising singers for Best
Interpretation, Best Vocal ability, Best Expressions, Best Stage Presence and Creativity.
An organizations, artistic associations, public Media, business companies and individual entrepreneurs,
with approval of the Organizing Committee, may endow Special Prizes and Awards. Festival Directors and
producers will be giving Invitations to their international festivals abroad.
CONTEST PROGRAM
25th & 26th October - Arrival of the participants
26th October – Morning Educational Master Classes on Vocal Fitness Training by our International Vocal Masters
Afternoon - Excursion Riga Old City Guided Tour
Evening - an Official Opening, Introduction of the participants, International Party “United in Diversity & Music”
27th October - Contest Song 1 & Song 2 at the Grand Concert Hall of the Ulbrokas Perle Kultural Centre,
Evening: Photoshoot, Red Carpet, Gala Concert and Awards
28th October - Departure of the participants.
