Ambar Cassidy, Julia Babb & Miss Julia Violet

Ambar Cassidy is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, TN who began her musical journey at the age of 5. She started performing on stage doing musical theatre in her hometown Boston, Massachusetts where she first developed her love for music and singing. From there, she began playing the piano, guitar and taking voice lessons. Eventually, this led to Ambar falling in love with writing her own songs. Blending the sounds of pop, r&b and folk behind compelling lyrics and crisp harmonies, Ambar is pursuing her passion for writing at college as a songwriting major. Before coming to college, Ambar performed in a renowned singing troupe and was the front female singer for a local wedding band that toured throughout New England. She’s played her songs throughout the city of Boston and surrounding areas as well. She was recently nominated for a New England Music Award in the category Rising Star: Massachusetts. In her time back at home, Ambar works with local producers as well as other local musicians recording her original songs.

Originally from Scituate MA, Julia Babb is a soul singer songwriter with a passion for rock and blues. With a voice that embodies the likes of Amy Winehouse, Alanis Morissette, and Rachel Price, Julia puts her own funky twist on familiar favorites that always brings a feel good energy. She can be found performing all over New England with her duo partner Jeff Rosen or their band Weekend Alibi, and you can find her on all social media platforms under @juliadianamusic
